SMi Group announces Major Luciene da Silva Demenicis, Head of the Geostationary Satellite and Strategic Communications (SGDC) Training Section, Space Operations Center, Brazilian Air Force, to join the unrivalled speaker line up for Global MilSatCom 2016, taking place in London on the 8th-10th November.

Major Luciene da Silva Demenicis will be speaking on how SatCom is transforming National Defence capabilities across the forces with the Geostationary Defense and Strategic Communications Satellite (SGDC). Presentation highlights include updates on the SGDC, to be launched in 2017, how the telecommunications satellite meets a broad spectrum of civil and military requirements across the country, and information on space technologies absorption and training programs.

Major Luciene da Silva Demenicis will also discuss the status of Brazilian Space Activities: SCD, CBERS, StarOne C1 and C2 Satellites, Space Activities National Program (PNAE) and Space Systems Strategic Program (PESE), and the Brazilian Air Force Space Operations Center (NuCOPE-P).
