National Harbor (MD), March 7th, 2016 – TeamCast, the world-renowned leader in digital modulation technologies for Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), Wireless Transmission and Satellite Applications, is introducing its new CID receiver 1U rack solution compliant to DVB-CID standards and FCC requirements at Satellite2016.
The TeamCast CID receiver offers a DVB-CID extraction capability so that you can check that your satellite transmission is compliant to ETSI 103 129 standards and check its content. It is the right solution to identify the signal it is locked to, and can be used as a tool for checking “on-the-fly” that the signal actually contains the CID data.
“With this new solution, we help satellite broadcasters as well as satellite operators to monitor and check that their customers include the DVB-CID identifier inside their transmission. This feature is now becoming mandatory, as required by frequency regulators all over the world” says Christophe Trolet, Business Unit Manager at TeamCast.
The TeamCast CID receiver will be demonstrated on TeamCast’s booth #2129.
