Lance has 28 years of satellite operations and engineering experience. Having worked at European Space Agency in satellite control and mission control for nearly 10 year before moving into network and ground engineering with ICO in 1998. Lance moved to NewSkies in 2004 supporting payload operations in Den Haag, until NewSkies was purchased by SES in 2007. After handing over payload operations to the operations centre in US, Lance joined SES in their headquarters in Luxembourg as a Senior Engineer in the Customer Service Department (CSD). He is responsible for maintaining the operations of the ground carrier monitoring infrastructure and engineering level 2/3 support to the operations teams. Lance is responsible for improvements to customer services through development, enhancement and management of systems, tools and processes.
