Douglas, Isle of Man 21st May 2015 – The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG) will be holding a webinar aimed at helping broadcasters, and other satellite users, tackle satellite interference. The webinar, which is being hosted by Inmarsat, takes place at 9am EST / 2pm GMT / 3pm CET on Thursday 11th June.
The free webinar will give participants an update on the current situation, how it affects broadcasters, and what practical steps broadcasters, and other users, can take to reduce satellite interference. It will also draw on recent interference cases combatted by the BBC, and the measures the broadcaster has in place to reduce the effects of interference.
Hosted by Mark Steel, Senior Director, User Terminal Development, Inmarsat and Martin Coleman, Executive Director, the Satellite Interference Reduction Group, other speakers include Nigel Fry and Cath Westcott of the BBC.
