Douglas, Isle of Man, 14th October 2014 – The Satellite Interference Reduction Group (IRG) today announced the launch of a Product Innovation Spotlight session at its upcoming workshop.
The Product Innovation Spotlight will give selected companies the opportunity to showcase their latest products and innovations aimed at reducing satellite interference. These sessions will be strictly time limited and free to all members, with a charge for non-members wishing to present.
The IRG workshop takes place at Inmarsat’s headquarters in London, on 21st and 22nd October and will focus on the evolution of the interference mitigation toolbox, introducing new concepts such as using commercial interference initiatives applied to the military environment; VSAT Interference from TDMA/Burst Mode Systems, Geolocation and the “spin-off” technology ideas derived from the detection developments of Carrier ID.
“There is a great deal of innovation happening within the satellite industry currently,” commented Martin Coleman, Executive Director, the Satellite Interference Reduction Group. “Launching these sessions will enable attendees at our workshop to understand the latest technology available to help them tackle interference.”
