ETL Systems, a leading provider of satellite communication solutions, is pleased to announce the award of a contract by SES, a leading satellite operator.

Under this agreement, ETL Systems will supply a range of advanced High Power Amplifiers (HPAs) for SES’s ground stations. The award follows ETL Systems’ recent acquisition of SpacePath Communications, a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of advanced high-power amplifiers for the satcoms market.

This contract encompasses the delivery of SpacePath DBS and Ku-band Traveling-wave Tube (TWT) based amplifiers, including 1250W and 750W models, designed for both indoor and outdoor installations. This order comprises 36 units. These amplifiers will be critical components in the replenishment programme for SES’s global network of ground stations, ensuring continued high-performance and reliable service delivery.

“We are delighted to continue our strong relationship with SES,” said Marc Ashton, Regional Sales Director at ETL Systems. “This follow-on contract is a testament to the performance and reliability of our solutions, and we look forward to supporting SES’s ongoing growth and operational excellence.”

ETL Systems has a long-standing reputation for delivering cutting-edge satellite communication products, and this latest contract further underscores the company’s position as a trusted partner in the satellite communications industry. The recent acquisition of SpacePath Communications enhances ETL Systems’ capabilities, enabling the company to offer an even broader range of high-quality solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

Marc Hennemann, Senior Manager Ground Systems Engineering at SES, commented, “This award is part of our continuous efforts to optimize our satellite communications infrastructure. We welcome the addition of the SpacePath High Power Amplifier range to ETL’s capabilities and are proud to expand our partnership with ETL Systems.”

Colin Bolton, founder of SpacePath Communications, added, “This contract marks an exciting milestone for both SpacePath and ETL Systems. The integration of our advanced amplifier technology with ETL’s expertise in satellite communications will allow us to continue driving innovation and enhancing system capabilities. We are proud to be contributing to the success of SES, who are globally renowned for their excellence.”
