Ledbury, UK, 23 July 2024 – Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG) and SAE Media Group have opened nominations for the first Women in MilSatCom Innovation Awards, to be presented during the Women in MilSatCom Forum.
The award will be presented by SIG during the free-to-attend Women in MilSatCom Networking Breakfast, during the Global MilSatCom conference in London in November. The award recognises women who are innovators across the military satellite communication industry. Nominations are welcomed from any women working in MilSatCom, whether nominating themselves or someone else.
SIG is a membership organisation dedicated to fostering innovation and enhancing the potential of the satcom industry. It offers a platform for industry operators and professionals to engage in discussions, to address the challenges and opportunities emerging within the industry.
The Global MilSatCom Conference, now in its 26th year, is the largest gathering of MilSatCom professionals. Taking place in London, the conference will feature a range of industry and government experts discussing critical topics in the military satellite communication sector. Global MilSatCom provides the provides an opportunity for military leaders to discuss capabilities, strategies as well as industry challenges.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 16th August, and the shortlist will be announced on Friday 4th October. Winners will be announced at the Women in MilSatCom Forum : Defence & Security : UK on Thursday 7thNovember at St. James Court, London.
