Ledbury, UK, 21 November 2023 – Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 SIG Awards. Individuals are invited to cast their nominations in the following categories: Innovation of the Year, Cooperation of the Year, Educational Project of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year.
SIG is a membership organisation that seeks to promote innovation whilst improving operational cohesion to maximise industry potential within satcom. It provides a forum for discussion between industry operators and professionals, as well as examining the challenges and opportunities emerging within the industry’s fast-paced transformation.

The complex landscape, both within orbit and at the ground, has pushed innovation and enabled exciting new applications within the industry. Previous winners include the DIFI Consortium, Atheras Analytics, Micro-Ant, Spaceport Cornwall, QuadSAT, and Kacific Broadband Satellites.
The deadline for submissions is 31st January 2024. Winners will be announced at SIG’s Networking Reception which will take place in Washington DC on 18th March.
Please note, nominees must be 35 and under to be considered for the Young Engineer Award of the Year.
