The life of a satellite broadcaster has not been running smoothly over recent years. Most people will be aware of the battle of the spectrum this year, where valuable satellite spectrum, mostly used by broadcasters, has been once again under threat from the mobile industry. Add to that the threat from satellite interference, including intentional, potentially impacting those all-important broadcasts, it must feel a little doom and gloom out there.
